There are a lot of mobs there that aren't in the game (yet), I wonder if that means they'll be added? Or did they just throw in some FFXI mobs (like yagudo) and "asume" theya re going to be be added and they are going to follow XI rules…? Who knows.
Some of the things on that chart are "true" despite the "logic" of the elemental circle. Take for instance Bombs. Fire completely wreaks them, even though logic would dictate that they'd be weak to wind.
I used to set a lot of stats to ice, and I noticed almost all the flyers are weak to it.
There are things I don't get. Ahriman's are strong against all magic? Maybe that's why emulate works well as a tanking skill against them since it emulates their defensive attributes against elements, but then why do fire and light magics do so much damage?
There are other things I'd like to test. It says raptors are weak to water, Piestes to ice, and dragons to light. All those enemies I kind of figured would be wind based on them seeming to have an affinity for fire moves, then again it would seem that a lot of these later game enemies would be weak to one thing, and how fair would that be?
None of this matters too much, since I guess we'll be losing control of our elemental stats after the patch. I wonder though, if there will be slight inbalances to give the races uniqueness (such as moon mithras starting with higher ice affinity), or what they'll do post patch.
